taken from my book, "As The Marker Snaps"

Better Than A Lopsided Frito

And I'm swimming

__like a lost soul on high

Maybe an open sand trap

__will have to park it's cars

______my mind

Yet I

____my heart

______like a rubber band

Just to shoot for the stars

Only to land back on

__this pathetic planet I'm on

I only know this is "the west coast"

But only by default of location

I know I swing like a slob

I get called a "crab"

When I see the lights dangle

__on a pendulum

I only wander thru aimless skies

Just to find a bight to eat

Maybe I frown like a piggy

__that sips his tea

____while playing the banjo

______upside down like a vampire

________drinking from the sea of life

__________for some odd reason

When I see the baggage I create

I see it leaving a trail of unhappiness

__where ever I go

It's been so long since I' been able

__to buy junk food

____like old times

Wish this diet didn't have to take over my life

'Cause, boy I am craving right now

I just can't believe I have nobody

To the left

__nor to the right of me

If all I am

__is some one to pat on the back

Couldn't thee internet do that?

I must sail away

__further than the fog can take me

Maybe I need a vacation

Did somebody say
