Divide Me By Sorrow

I dreamt that I

Was a clucking chicken

Taking my precious time

Laying a hen egg

When it hatched

I witness a miracle

The birth of food

For Safeway to sell of

Many times

This happened again for me

Now I'm making

A whole lot of money from it

Then I wake

And finally human again

No one but

A bucket of charm for me

Lapse of time

The whirlwind of change for me

Nothing but a hideous mistake

I don't want to eat love's grapes

No barrel of laughter can last for me

May I jot down my excuses

For letting love walk out on me?

I'm a beast and nothing works

Who cares?

It's over

Let it go

If I was to throw up madly

I would walk out on the devil

Who shaped my brain

And wake up, the chicken

I only dream to be
