taken from my book, "So Easy To Think"

Dreams Can Be Crazy

Once, when I was blind

I crawled into the crevasses on my mind

Hoped for a better world

To be a part of

Made my entrance

And became a proud citizen

As I bashed my head on a rock

I found relief in my own suicide

Wished I wouldn't

But who could of stopped me?

I didn't make a mistake

For it all was a dream

I'm still in the place to be

But, dead, I making sure

That I won't be

'Least not by me

I flutter like infested bird wings

Jumping out of my head

Every now and then

I hoped to be looking down

The barrel of a gun

But ended up growing up

And changing my mind

I look away from dying

And feel free to not want to

My examination of my sickness

I'd gladly redo

Over and over

Until my sickness is through

I can melt in a sea of dust

When ever sanity is finally reached

And I can go about being ready for death

The say I'll "never be healed though"

So in replace of being healed

I'll settle for my retirement

In it's place

Then I'll be glad to jump in front

Of any Duncan haters' bullets

'Cause I know they're out there

They made it so I cannot

Replace a certain pair of pants

At any East Bay Wal*Mart

But I don't give a fuck

I cut the blood stain out

And now I can patch it up

I will get my fuckin' medication too

And you can tell Obama

That I "ain't no ordinary cracka'"
