I Haven't Found Myself, But Am I Even Looking?

-

It's who I am

Not what I do

It's who I am

Not what I do

Well, I guessI have no identity then

I only know what I do anyway

For all I know

__I'm a preacher

Not a son

For ifI was really somebody

Just anybody

Wouldn'tI have

Just anybody in my life?

All I know are guys now

Women must of found out

__I was nothing

So they threw my heart on the ground

I refuse to bea starving artist

And stay at my mama's house

I refuse to be homeless

Like everyone wants me to be

But how canI deserve anything

WhenI cannot identify myself

As anyone?

How can I even look for myself?

There's nowhere to look
