I Shouldn't Even Love You

After I slept thru the rainfall

I felt the September slipping

I noticed it became Halloween

And we had fell apart

Now the new year

Is upon us

And no way to be the same

Just when the ball drops

I will be goner and goner

From our old constant contact

"You know" you had me

In the grips of your hands

Now you're just not

Holding on "at all"

Are all pointed at my head

These fools want me dead

And you're not here for them

To not want to shoot me anymore

I must be falling to the floor

Eventually in the near near future

But I'm not putting this all on you

You're where you are

I'm only myself

Lookin' like SHIT!!!!!

Your life is yours to be yours

And so, mine is too

I'll be dead soon

I better lift my life into God's hands

If I know

What is good for me

For, whatever

is so wrong

I will know

Where to belong

When you're just as the nobody

That I am to you

Flowers, I could send them

But you'll ask me what for

And I'll have to admit

The feeling, I still kept
