In Your Home Without You ):
-
Awake in your apartment
You not in it
Hurts
Painfully
Will this tear us apart?
Will the mad men in there take your heart?
How are you tonight?
No 'phone number to your pay'phone yet
And I guess you're not better yet
If I've been carelessly tied up today
I'm sorry
My schedule was the norm until tonight
Laundry and then back to you
But you were elsewhere when I returned
Now you are trapped in there
But I know you must get out
That's what all my friends tend to say
I just gotta pray
And I have to learn to understand diabetes
If I am on my way to having it, myself
You in pain is tearing me wide open
Why my heart is unsettled
Just drives me into my own sense of panic
This is no picnic
Being without you
I wait for you
Please come home
