Is This A Game Made Out Of Waiting?

Get so impatient, waiting

Sometimes I lose the feeling

yet, I know

We just met

There's no need to rush, just yet

My beloved little flame

"God speed ya'", Jane

Had I had a ham sandwich for lunch today

"You know" I'd be eatin' it 'long the way

For me and my otha' selves

We goin' hiking

Right after putting this C.D. I'm playin'

On my iPod

I woke up with such a surprise

A comment on my status

From a homegirl?

__or my one and only?

____I don't know yet

But often pillers of damage

__destroys my mind

'Twas clouded, thinkin' Heavily

Thoughts of you

__they rush my heart

Forces words into rhymes like these

I just wanna hear your voice

But I don't wan you to hear mine

Often confused why I never got your number

It's on your facebook

And mine is too

But it's

Nothing new

We may have already known that

And decided, the both of us

That this is alright

God, this is comforting

I think I can handle this

And right here as my invisible fish tank

__speaks it's bubbly words

I know it's just the ceiling fan

__when I look up

I'm quite fond of yo' ev'rythang

"Mary Jane" crosses thru my mind

I hear that chorus thru my mind

Never knowing if we should marry

__because of that

I just think it's so funny

Always makes me laugh

But not like a crazy laughter

Just a warming inner natural high

The thought of you being a bride

Just 'cause of a song telling me to

Just "marry" you

But I'm too grown up to rush

You probably think of me as just fun

I've learned the hard way

To take my time

Got the rest of our lives, right?
