taken from my book, "Position The Thought"

Just Can't See Myself

If I'm a dusty bunny

Juggling thoughts

What became of my mind

__when stilling it?

I know not a damned thing inside

Wouldn't be able to tell you

What is buggin' me

'Cause I don't understand

__these feelings in me

I climb thee eleventh step

__just to fall

____and start over the climb

What happened to contemplation?

Oh, I think, "it ran my ass over"

"Maybe I'm too blind to think"

I press my luck inside

Slouch on an empty log

__and spread my germs so generously

Never knew the truth

Why thee empty log

__just cracks and breaks

Just 'cause it can't hold my weight

"Am I getting fat?"

"Is that why my A1C is a 5.7?"

Brushing past the lies

I see no reality

How can I be "humble"?

Maybe I'm just a fish out of the sea

But is that exaggerating?

If so, how much is exaggerated?
