Just Plain "Waiting"

The burning in my mind

All the flustering of emotions

The world lit up by a ray of sun

Every one in the world is living their lives

And you're locked up against your will

This morning I dropped off your pills

I ate the pain for breakfast

Took my medz at the church

Left your apartment in a hurry

But at least you're in a safer ward

And not up in John George

And like a flashback, I saw the place

Where I was first admitted to

Almost 7 months past 18 years ago

__I know in there

____some can lose there soul

But you can come out fine

__if you let what's troubling you go

Nightmares are just dreams

And they are painful

I had one last night

I wake up everyday

To let go of what happens when I'm asleep

Soon you'll be free

To breathe this air with me

But just remember, "air is air"

"There's also air in there"

Just work on yourself

__and they will let you out

Out an about again

The darkness is in my head here

For, I don't know when

But they can't keep you locked up forever

All we can do is wait for your freedom

When you're finally well

And healthy as can be
