The pieces of my brain has escaped me

Lost in the ruins around me

How can I forget this life

__and just go up above?

"Above it all"

__I just am not

I am bellow the filth

__because I am worse

I am the garbage

__that I cannot escape from

But who was I supposed to be?

"Optimist Prime, and all his positivity"?

I don't see why that would have to be

__anything true

I reel in the sadness

The monster from within me

That won't let me become somebody

If I die this way

I die this way

So there's nothing I can do about it

Just live like this until I do

Hoping, wishing, and praying

That death will be a better place
