Long After You're Gone

I'm tired of all my replacements

Who are everything that I am not

According to all my exes

I'm not accepting

What God made of me

IfI was good enough

Why am I still not in a band?

Two souls become one

But only when in love

And I can't aford to go under

Another spell

So this is Hell

That I live each day

Not a heart to own

Not a soul comin' my way

So I called it quits

Right after May

And I pleeded with my guilt

Stained on my brain

Stained on my heart

All over my soul

Lost in my notes

My head only pops out

Every once in a while

I can see the strands in time

During those times

Fall on my head

They fall on me

As ev'ryone

Leaves me

I was meant to use people for subjects

To write about

As the pieces of mandess fit together

So nicely

Well, I won't drink a beer

__wheh the sun is still out

And I won't puff of hay

__without Kelly

I won't blow my money

On myself anymore

I don't really have any money

It's pretty much all spoken for

Then when my debt is paid

__theres' rent

So even around the bend

Life is still bent

I guess some one must of told me

__to "get bent"

And I couldn't help but obay

Such a hypnotic command
