"Loving You" Is A Loss In Itself As It Is

It's impeccable to know

You're not going to be mine

It's so easy to know that

'Cause I ain't gonna try

I won't be holding your hand

Unless to close the meeting

Even then our fingers won't be clasped

So it won't be the same

I could inscribe your name

And tattoo my heart

With the beauty that is the letters

That spell out "Gina" so well

That my heart goes to Hell

For putting you ahead of God above

When you're not even mine to hold

I could explain my "I-love-you"s

But where would that get me today?

I'd be last to ask you to dance

Possibly not even step out on the floor

I'll see you kissing some one else

And then my heart will drop to the floor

And you would surely kick it around

I'll be dressed up like a clown

With the craziest blank stare

Knowing nothing of who you are

In reality, at all

I will crumble all to pieces

When your share says you found some one

Some one to be your man for you

And I'll be crying like a baby

Without even shedding a tear
