Mom was always working for what's good

She always knew thee answer

__to ev'rything

Even if we did not believe her

It's only the band wagon

__we jump on

That lets' us have our differences

Many a time I could wonder

How our mother could always

__fix what we thought

Was unfixable to us

Even the things she does not heal

The rubble we were left in where

__mom found us in our despairs

Was never meant to be the way

That it once

__if ever

Really used to be

Mom, you opened my eyes

From time to time

And made thee answers

Ever so clear

Mom, you reminded us all

The things we all forgot

I know it's Jasmine's turn

__to be a mom

And soon Jennifer's

I don't know if I'll ever

Make a mother out of any woman

But if I do

It'll be her turn too

And I'd want her to be

__as true as you

Mom, you're the best

Your love will never end

And if I had the chance

You'd be a grandmother again

If a wife I do have

At any given chance
