Moments Without A Moon

-

Like empty marks on an uncovered wound

The lurking deaths take their toll

Undergoing the fight within

All lost under a shattered moon

Where moonmen wander to reach us here

Like nowhere else would they rather be

Like piss in the sink

__and all it's glory

The beavered Hell that is the story

Hence not a drop of rain left in the skies

That used to pour out abundant blessings

Now just shriveled up clouds

__that have lost their meaning

Never is the time

Never in a laugh

"Never" could last forever

When the money hits the bank

And when all the children grow

__to take over our futures

____and in charge of our lives

The winds will all laugh

With our new masters

Destroying us in our paths

Hammer my drooling thoughts

With a mallet of death

And watch as we say goodbye

To one another in thee end
