taken from my book, "Pray For Solution"

Nothing To Believe Anymore

I'm not out here with the rest of them

I'm dying just like you

Lean into a forklift drop

To expand all that isn't my mind

Who knows what happens

__to the highway

When no one hitchhikes on it?

My body I leave to this world

Will more than likely be burned

And I'll end up in an urn

But whatever happens to to the buckets

That were used to capture drips

I only know is a sad story

I don't like the nothingness

__that captivates my mind

If I were a tied up dog

I would bark my ass off

But I am a Jay-Cat

So I will meow

And wag my tail around

When the news hits the shelf

You'll be the paperweight

Used to ground the story to the table

Where all will be read

And recycled into thin air

Like a marble of wasted dust

Thee ice cream driver

__will laugh

And not look back

__at where he drives off from
