Recovery At Last

Used, to find the spark

Of meaning in my head

Stopped because I knew is was wrong

And expensive

Found the rooms of N.A.

I keep coming back

__to feel real

And I mean it

Not a drop

Nor a stoning

In years

And I like it

Now my life is perfect with a sense of peace

And a woman

__that I can now love

For forever

I moved out on my own

To the city where I was born

On thee opposite side of the town

But I see the difference

That cleaning up has got me

Freedom freedom from solitude

In the rooms of recovery

And choices everyday

I couldn't bare the drug life

Now I don't have to wear it

The world is more around me

Now that I am a part of it

And Hell yeah it was worth it
