Ropes On Trees

I'm not safe in here

In these parts of my life

I swore to protect my own self

Just a silly little thought

Ropes on trees?

Gagging me?

Where's the point?

What happens to the dead?

I never had a reason

Why I should believe

What else am I supposed to think

To shut up the questions in my mind?

A very fine point in time

Where just thee empty answers

Wash away the sands of life

A life force

__is about to walk all over me

And as dead as ever can be

I will lie here

Shivering in the cold

__taking of my life

What kind of energy do I have?

I've been to nowhere and back

And I've always landed here

To watch the rubble around me burn

It isn't life that I have earned

I've paid the piper my fair share

Just to pioneer to over here

Wearing a question mark for a hat

I tried to stand tall and proud

But I came to a point

__of saying goodbye to my damaged goods

And even the donkey pulled over

__on the side of the road

____to be given a ticket

Splintering minds

Like the ones before

Have they the spells?

The spells to send a dime bag of crack

To a crackhead on thee other side?

Even the trumpet won't blow

Now thee hour glass itself

Is getting old

But I'm not about to pay the price

__for freedom

____if it means giving up

______my free will

Thee only thing I was born with
