Surely Over The Cost

With my brain, here

I'm gonna think a lot

But with my heart nowhere to be found

I think I'll get along fine

And when I span across

__some space in time

I'm gonna let it all go

Until I'm completely blind

But, when I walk to my death

I will be on my bed

And when I sink into

__an unbelievable thought

I will escape the way

__that my heart beats to this song

I'm gonna stop myself

__before I explode

And who may know?

I may never grow old

But I sure am gonna die

And when I sleep

__I'll forget to dream

I'll lay there with

__an empty mind

And aching heart

Never understanding

__the promise

____that Jesus made

______while on the cross

Well, slap my silly, 'cause

__I don't care

Fry some spam

And eat as much

As I can

____giving a fuck

When tomorrow grabs my hand

And takes me for a walk

I know I will be dead

Time for lunch

But don't be late

The grave is marked

With license plates

A home marked for deleation

Off the world of my face

Pay no attention

It's a crazy dinner's sage

No time to delay

Just ride my brain

__"all the way" to the crevasses

Of nothingness
