The Diet Of A Lifetime

Here again

Inside my head

Thru the storm I went

But did not make it to thee other side

Where life could be pretty

Where life could be grand

Where marbles of plastic

Wind up the wind as it blows thick and thin

When I fiend for the goodies

I know I cannot have

I get hungrier and hungrier

But my health I gotta claim

Thoughts of cookies and candy bars

Chocolate milk and ice cream

I just want junk food

But I'm doing such a good job

With staying away from becoming diabetic

I'm so starving for sweets I feel sick

Tired of these chips

My stomach is angry at me

When can I ever win?

I can't

Can't I just have a Snickers?

I can't

Maybe I'll buy some popcorn

And popcorn oil

And just throw a fit!

But it's never gonna be enough

Is it?

So much food with sugar

That I want but can't have
