taken from my book, "Pray For Solution"

They're Here, But Not Here

Having a Hell of a problem

Just not going anywhere

Is it just me?

Nobody can tell me anything real and honest

The truth is unlookupable

And I sure as Hell ain't gonna find it

Thee answers are sharp

And brightly dangling

Twinkling somewhere

But not here

Not where I'm at

Is it as common as I think

That "nothing grabs ahold of me

The way that it should be doing?"

Sprinkling madness all over me

Is all that the world be doing

To me

__this place looks empty

People are here

__but I don't know they're here

To me

__this place is quiet

Even though there is so much sound

__in the world

Nothing eye catching is going on

And nothing can be heard by me

Nobody's present in my life

I'm too by myself to be

__part of anywhere I go

Anywhere I am

Or anywhere I'm not

Due to my lack of attention

I am loosing every one around me

Now to fix my burdens

I fixate on burning away

Ruffling like leaves

Blowing in the wind

As water drips from above

I know it's cold

But does that even matter?
