Uncommon Knowledge

I will gather all my thoughts

Put them in a basket

And pass 'em around

Maybe get lost

__and then found

Told to "not come around"

But I will

I'm on some kinds of pills

That make the day feel real

If I have to kill anybody

I'm not gonna feel good

So let me hang here, loose

Like a goose

And not have to kill

__me, nor you

If I find myself not attractive

Could that be what I am?

Just "not attractive"?

My eyes grow soar

__at the times

My world flips me off

__all the time

No wonder I don't settle down

If I could fuck the life

__out of an empty bag of fries

Would I have to try?

Don't tell me I "know why"

Just let the buzzards fly off

And fly madly into the night

'Cause I'm not about to say goodbye

Not to you, nor I

If I live unwillingly

How harsh are my "hello"s

__when I sing to a marshmallow?

Only the hallow doubts

Leave us to be well without

And when the donkeys kick the mules

__around and round

Just watch me sink into a chair

__and stare

Blindly into the madness

__that is just the times

____that are today

As silly as they may seem

If I feel the baseball shatter

If I hear no wisdom flatter myself

How can I sit down and go all to Hell?

Meet me where the murky waters

__refuse to look black

And watch as I kick my own ass

I'm not hear to teach ants how to laugh

So I won't

And go home

With no one to bone

I'll be quite fine with it

I'll even laugh about it

And find myself over the fact about it

If you could hear my insanity

__sparkle in your ears

Watch as how the world disappears

And know not

__that the gears are clogged

The Heaven that is not you, nor I

Will walk back up the stran'

__Over a span of life

Weighing down a trick'ly stream of wealth
