Words Going Nowhere In Thee Air

I wanna feel like a chicken on a farm

Just cluckfully watching the days go by

But as I am

I'm just this guy

Who rambles away into nothingness

Who's words come out his mouth

But just never get heard

So go nowhere

If all I do

__is cook and clean

____take pills and sleep

How would life be?

What would I become?

I know somewhere in the world

__I am going to die

And when I do

Will all the words I have said

__just echo in my head?

Only death can tell me

But why turn into some one

__who just waits for life to be done

____when I don't want life to be done?

I try to stretch this obviously short life

__as far as I can

When the drops of unthinkable thoughts

Drip down like blood from my heart

I know there will be some hens

__licking up the thoughts

____that I could never think

Words to express such an event

Will fall out of my mouth

But the sounds won't be paid attention to

And no point of mine

__will I be able to get across

The water will just wash over the rocks

As if I never said a word

Things are just things anyways

So no one even listens to waves
