A PLACE I CALL HOME

I struggle to find a place , a place where I belong
Somewhere far away, a place I can call home
I’ve been to a lot of places, I’ve explored them in my mind
Everywhere is nowhere, Still I cannot find
A place with trees and rivers too
Every night I see them but then
I lose you

You like to run away sometimes
I lose you in the dust
Then I wake up sweating
Angry in disgust
When will you stop running?
A question asked in vain
When can I start trusting you

My love you must gain
