UNBORN CHILD

I’m sitting in a dark corner that represents my life
Wondering about a lot of things
Will I ever be your wife?

Where’s the man I got to know, the one that held my heart?
The only thing that’s left is a love torn apart
I’m struggling to keep up the fight
The cause to me unknown
Trust, loyalty, compassion and care has yet to be shown

Sleeping remains a wish, being awake is a curse to me
My heart is calling out to you are you to blind to see?
I don’t want to live my life the way it’s going now
I know there’s another road to take
Why am I the one to bow?

Thinking about us is a blinding task
My thoughts are running wild
Why are you so stubborn to see
It’s reflecting on our unborn child?

Am I supposed to accept the fact, that a failure is what I’m going to be
The task that I held close to my heart
Failed because of you and ME
