Lay with me and look around
I’m so lucky to be here
Water crashing into silky sand
Finally makes everything clear

I see you off in the distance
Smile on your face
It helps me realize
I almost left this place

The world won’t be fair
People will continue to leave
Trouble with consume you
Lies, they will deceive

But, it’s no reason to leave
It’s no reason to quit
Feeling this thing
Pushes me to commit

I want to feel the world
I want to see it through
I want to see all the things
I want the sweetest taboo

I sat on the boat
Water misting on me
Watching the sun disappear
Feeling the winds agree

I found my soul
In a sea of sand
It cried out to me
As I grabbed its hand

I’m so happy I found you
I appreciate the journey
This place gave me the gift
Of self reflecting reverie

It shows me life
Is elegant and simple
It comforts me to know
I can do this on my own.
