Down to my toes
can't forget those
My ears and my nose
without any clothes
My cheeks like a rose
not something I chose

This is a cute rhyme and a sweet little poem :) I like the subject and i can really relate... I was outside the other day trying to figure out if it was a reasonable idea to try and create a little "nose hat".... unfortuently i couldnt think of a practical way to attach it...
Oh well, that is for engineers to figure out! Im just the dreamer! I should find someone smart to actually do the real work....
Anyways a good poem, i like it!
Ah yes, indeed, a nose cap.
I wonder why they're not already around.
Perhaps they interfere with breathing or just too dang snotty (laughs).
An excellent idea just the same,IMO.
It could drape over the nose and hook onto glasses!
And, of course, come in many colors.
Thanks for liking my little poem.
I came in the other day trying to warm my hands and thought, "there's a subject I could tackle".
Great little rhyme! I live in Phoenix, but I also snow ski, and I have a mask that covers my nose, made out of blue neoprene, like wetsuit material. since Please brought it up.
I bet that works out pretty good.
Thanks for the comments.
I nose how that feels. I have a big conk apparently. Anyway really this little rhyme reminds me how lucky I am, most of us are to beable to retreat from the cold. There are some who have no choice but to endure.
Thanks for posting this timely reminder
Ah, but of course, my friend.
I appreciate your observations.
Soon, I suppose, we'll have "beat the heat".
I love it! Makes me think of my Army days, standing on guard duty in the cold winter months, with no option of coming in till my shift was over. Thank goodness those days are long past, now, and all I normally have to worry about is the cold from my truck to wherever I'm going, and back! Nicely done!
Thanks Calvin, you always put a smile on my face. I came in from the cold one night and thought, "I'm going to get this out of my system, right now!". So, I knew what to write about. :D
