There must be Time for a Lack of It
I went for a walk one day and I stumbled upon myself.
All the while, I was actually looking for someone else.
A day in the park, created a spark.
Although the journey at first was gentle enough, little did I know it was soon to get rough.
Brightness falling on an endless calling
Nevermore to keep track the score
If you win, I do too.
Together we can’t lose.
One and won don’t make two
When you are me and I am you
Now it’s getting dark and we’re not in the park.
It’s getting late but we have no date.
The thing that has changed is that I am not just me.
When you came along, I became we.
