There are demons here among us, most people cannot see,
They live and work beside us, look just like you and me.

Some, I think, are born that way; some, I think, created.
Either way, it doesn’t change, their hunger can’t be sated.

The woman’s kids are in the car, when she’s buying drugs.
Teenagers simply bored with life, innocents he mugs.

The kids who cruelly tease a girl, because she’s overweight.
Driving her to cut herself, acting in self-hate.

The man who spends his time online, seducing little girls.
He seems to like them really young, dressed up with lots of curls.

The man who comes home drunk at night, and will all his life.
Doesn’t matter what she does, he’ll still beat his wife.

Though they use different tactics, each demon is the same.
They rejoice destroying lives, leaving naught but blame.

So stop and think ‘bout consequence, your picture will be clearer.
Perhaps you’ll see a demon’s face, while looking in a mirror.
