You will think this is simply a bluster,

But I hate you with all the strength I can muster.

Oh I’m sure that others hate that know you in passing,

But to really know you, makes hatred surpassing

Anything like the casual kind.

Discomfort, disgust, unease intertwined.

All of these are naught but pretenders,

Shadows in light that your hatred engenders.

Your voice, how shrill, causes pain unflagging

With your petulant whimpering, world-class nagging.

And believe me when I tell you this isn’t a stretch,

Your cooking would cause a stone statue to wretch.

Your eyes are so lifeless, your breath, it’s just fetid,

And Medussa, to you, for her hairstyle’s indebted.

Removing your shoes, the room thinks it’s been gassed,

And nary a kind word cross your lips ever passed.

As far as I know, your only joy comes

When you have me hanging up by my thumbs.

I feel like I escaped from the bowels of hell,

When you and I made our final farewell.

Good bye, good riddance, I guess that is that.

Oh, one more thing, I hated your cat.

P.S. I was wondering sorta, kinda whether,

You might take me back and we get back together?
