Now that we have said we’re through,

I have a few things to say to you.

And since our breakup went so well,

I just can’t leave it at ‘go to hell’.

A simple message I’d like to bring,

A wish for the best of everything

That this life may throw your way,

That is, for you, my wish, I pray.

The best of spring’s most allergic sneezes,

The best of the deadly tropical diseases,

The best of rashes in the best of places,

The best of bad luck and it’s embraces.

May the best of trees, fall on your cat,

Leaving nothing but the world’s best splat.

And to your car, the best of wrecks,

With the best of injuries of all the necks.

May your house succumb to the best of fires.

May your next boyfriend be the best of liars,

And be the number one, prize winning slob,

And causes you to lose your job.

With each day, may your life worsen,

See, I am not such a bad person.

Even though I’m the one that you detest,

I can still wish for you only the best.
