Wide eyed and innocent, she enters the world,
Not knowing the dangers around her.

Bright lights, fascinations all round her swirl,
Still learning her way, she’s so pure.

She’s heard some stories about how things are,
And now she wants to try them.

Making wrong choices, she won’t go too far,
Before the world will condemn.

Right now she’s a bright most beautiful creature
That hasn’t been scarred by the pain.

But the world she’s in, is the most cruel teacher,
Sadly innocence soon shall be slain.
