Standing on the brink of death it all comes crystal clear.

The true value of every laugh, the beauty of each tear.

Every second savored sweet, fighting for each one.

Looking back across life’s path, regretting things undone.

What are the things that you would change, if you only could?

What other paths might you have walked, if you understood?

Each and every day that dawns, we think we have such time.

Why must we draw closer to death, to taste our life sublime.

We should live life on the edge, on the brink of death.

We should squeeze the life from life, while we each have breath.
