Sins highway

There was a time; I walked in sin- I walked with Satan and I called him friend. How I mourn that dreadful day, I started down sins highway.

As I walked on down sins highway with heavy burden of Satans ways- I set me down beside the road - rest me from sins heavy load- I

Don’t know why, to this day; I looked to the heavens and I did pray- Oh merciful God I’m so alone - have mercy on this bag of bones-

I am not clean- sins all I know - Lord lift me from sins mighty hold- then I felt from deep inside, a peace and warmth and a glow of pride-

My Lord washed my sins away, and took me off of sins highway- I lost it all on Sin’s highway- till I knelt down and learned to pray

Now sins highway is where you’ll find, grieving souls and wasted lives all you’ll know is misery - it’ll happen to you as it did me-
