your hair is golden waves

piled atop your head in flowing mountains

i see your yellow curls

the carefully pinned folds and bumps

and can only think of honeybees

despite the similarites

i can only wonder

what my fingers would feel like running through your hair

and what your fingers would feel like running through mine
