This poem is about Someone that feels betrayed and Was upset and it totally over it but still feels just hurt since the person who betrayed him was someone really close.

You say I that I'm one to blame

Because it me who didn't come to you

But everytime I called out ya name

You keep walking away doing what you do

You said that you that you cared

And that you'd always be there

Then why me why

In the middle of the night

When I knew you could hear me cry

But you just walked on by

You were everything I wanted

But nothing that I need

I'm done being taken for granted

I'm done being left to bleed

I gotta walk away

There ain't nothin left to say

And we both know the reason

Because it was you who committed treason

I remember I when I was young

I kept think I the one

Why did the world shatter me

But it openned my eye to the creul reality

Could the world answer, looking my eyes

If I ask the world why

Are there are there so many villains

When every child dreams of being a hero

Was it just something for a child to believe in

Guess I'll never know

You were everything I wanted

But nothing that I need

I'm done being taken for granted

I'm done being left to bleed

I gotta walk away

There ain't nothin left to say

And we both know the reason

Because it was you who committed treason

I used to dream

That life would so much more

That nothin would be as it seems

And we'd be like a mighty bird who soars

And never touch the ground

But then why ya make the my sky fall down

You perice that dream with an arrow

Maybe knew it was coming, but wished it wasn't so

Now that I've bled

Everything is all done and said

You were everything I wanted

But nothing that I need

I'm done being taken for granted

I'm done being left to bleed

I gotta walk away

There ain't nothin left to say

And we both know the reason

Because it was you who committed treason

There's isn't anything left to say

Just waitting to turn my own way

You call out for me

Saying that ya sorry

But it's time to carry on

Because I'm already gone

From where I said stand

Ya screams sound like whispers of the wind

That fade in my hand

And now I'm in the start of my new begin

You were everything I wanted

But nothing that I need

I'm done being taken for granted

I'm done being left to bleed

I gotta walk away

There ain't nothin left to say

And we both know the reason

Because it was you who committed treason

That was very interesting. :) I really liked the character growth of the person who walked away. I think everyone should learn to stand on their own two feet and stop depending so much on others.

Great job! ^_^

I like this poem it's exactly how I felt when I broke up with my boyfriend, you feel all this hurt and pain and then finally you feel like you can breath again. Really well done, I gave it an I like it!

I thought it was a child disappointed in a parent. Either the parent was abusive or too busy for the child and never there for him or her? Was I way off base?

Actually you were really close! It was based on a kid who really believed in his hero and mean totally worshiped the ground his hero walked on, but the hero was something like a fake. He's totally crushed, but in the end he learns to get over it. The however can really be anyone like his father or brother or beat friend. But I tried for the him to walk away from his father-his hero. ^_^

This was such a powerful write filled with deep emotion. I could see the disappointment the person felt. As you stated the betrayal. Very neatly done. Susan :)

Hi

This poem is good. It has a nice ambiguous feel about. It could be a parent, friend, lover who you are talking too. Its nice that the reader has to do some work here...

Well done.
