A deer's fur

Held stiff in the cold

It must have ended some place

Red-eyed

Its mother looking for its young

Searching in the lonely forest

Piles of old toys

Boxes of forbidden letters

Pictures of the line of lost love

It must have ended some place

Last night written poetry was gone

Along with the memories of youth

My hot rod went into pieces that cannot be fixed

When a rolling thunderstorm came in

Now I'm on my own
