I let them walk

swirling slowly twirling

creeping whirling

over my torso

like a hurricane

with no remorse

to do it again

It's my way

of understanding

how devious they can be

plotting the direction of their

next course

to do it again

I tolerate very little

having patience for

even less

when they least expect it

I show them what

I will

or will not accept

letting them

to never

think me for a fool

or do it again

it's never what they expect

as I twist back

break and snap

surviving denying and disregarding

how they want to change the way

I live

I change it for them instead

as they become

erased transparently untrue

 never again

will I let

them, their memory I save,

have control over me,

when they cannot even,

how they behave.
