This was one of my first poems I ever wrote, and it's the reason I started writing in the first place. I took a class called 'Creative Writing' taught by a Ms. McGinn - One of those teachers you can't help but idolize - Her room was plastered with posters of Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix and Einstein. Anyways, the teacher gave us the blueprints for this poem, we just filled in the blanks. I forgot to do it, so the day we were supposed to get up in front of the class to read it, I scrambled and wrote down something I thought sounded good. After everyone read, she told the class that she thought mine was the best...I was blown away and for that reason I kept writing. Thanks Ms. McGinn.

The first line and last line is supposed to be your first name and last, but I just put my screenname in there to protect my identity...8D I'll put the blueprints at the bottom if anyone wants to use it.

Autobiography Poem

By Drache Kugel

Toothpicks and hair

Playful, open-minded and defiant

Sibling of love, hate and broken dreams

Lover of passion, idiocy and ice cold thoughts

Who feels drawn, rejected and ashamed

Who needs help, love and quiet time alone

Who gives into lies, money and attention

Who fears suffocation, nightmares and the unknown

Who admires the good, the bad and the very ugly

Who hates myself, god and the 'so-called' american way

Who would like to see the end of all that is proper

Resident of my time
