A poem i wrote during a rainstorm that inspired me. Nature really does sing.

Crystal clear raindrops fall from the weeping sky

Letting out a burst of tune as they hit the ground

Thunder booms a song that strikes fear into the heart

But is it a terrifying scream, or a harmonic sound?

The wind howls remorsefully, singing of things forgotten

Great pine trees sway from side to side, dancing out of sadness

The surface of the lake ripples as the rain beats it like a drum

The sly ravens caw their hymn about human badness

Late fall leaves fly through the moist air,

As the forest chants of the humans wrongs

But the humans will never understand,

They will never hear any of nature's beautiful songs
