A little something about a girl (the crow) that is swallowed up by pain and makes her way back out :) x

Black crow, soaring with the beauty of our blue sky

Ugly bird, result of an angel fallen from grace up high

Deadly heart of pain, venom spiking the blood of each cold kill

Reckless hope of the broken, golden heart, faded dark and left to fill

Secrets for a soul, red eyes seeking prey to carry on living

Worn of love, tired of the care and hope it takes to keep giving

Black crow, she used to be a ray of light to steady all our pain

Claws tearing flesh, pouring down with the depth of the rain

Burning desire grown dry, newly refreshed will to escape this hell

Pair of wings charred deep from the fire, flames for the one who fell

Rot of the dead, the silent hum of this urge to come to life

Doomed from sweet Heaven, determined to rise , though with great strife

Quiet tragedy, bitter cry of a black crow in the night

Flying to our sky of blue, fighting her way back to the light
