A poem for the reality of life

We dance between the lies

as our ficticious worlds become intertwind

We live in feigned ignorance

Our lies are white in our defense

We walk in cicles, live in cycles

screams- internal shouts, stifled

We yearn to live so our names are etched in stone

yet all they'll remember is a pile of bones

 our souls mysteries and imperfections

are only found in our reflections

the death of autumn always in our minds

we forget springs rebuilds all that fall finds

We breathe agony

trying to break the monotony

Pages turn and yet in time

the ink will fade from the lines

For all the roads we are to roam

we all live in monochrome

Melancholic Wisdom

I really liked this. I love the fact that it rhymed, as it made the flow really clean. Also, the topic you chose to write about was also interesting, it kind of makes one pause and think for a second. Overall, great job. Keep it up!
