this is a poem from a childs eye

In my mind’s eye
As i stare out of the window on a bright sunny day i watch as children play in their little costumes i look on and wonder why i can’t go outside and play but yet i hear the screams and shouts of my mum as i run and hides under my bed to fearly to make a sound so i am a quieter than a mouse.
But i hear my door slamming open with her shouting and cursing even more as i try to tremble no more but as she looks under my bed i she her eyes red and full of rage like the monster that she tells me that lives under the bed she grabs my wrists and drags me out from under and pulls me to her face where i can’t escape her wrath and disgrace she grabs me and chucks me into the closet under the stairs and leaves me there and hearing me banging on the door screaming to be let out.
After all of that i am lying on a mattress after my last drug usage high as kite and thinking of the past of my child life i take the knife and cut my wrists as the blood spills out i realise that my mum never loved me as the light fades from my eyes i know that i have gone onto a better place.
