This poem is about prejudice, mostly against homosexuals. That would be the reason for this Genre setting. The hanging part is meant both literally and figuratively, that is why the rating is PG. However, it is more recommended than required.
This is probably the oldest poem that I will post on here.

Hard to draw lines in the sand,
When kneeling on cobblestone.
You raise your hands to the sky.
So why are you looking down?

The disease is spreading through the world,
Breaking hearts and killing dreams.
The disease is on the riverbed,
Formed from the words in the streams.

Now you just speak of despise,
Why should you let them live?
See them all hanging now
From what it is that they believe.
