As a child who grew up away from my parents some times I feel resentment for them leaving me .This poem is about how I really feel.

Locked out of hell only to be condemned to heaven

When the cracks started to show and the walls they tumbled in,
when Heaven lost its innocence and became the birth of sin.
And the skies were no longer blue but a destructive sort of gray ,
You took your daughter from her cradle and you cast her far away .

You sent her to the World to keep her from harms way
and once an angel falls from Heaven in the abyss she has to stay.
You knew that and feared it, but still you gave her to the land.
You thought that on the un shaken rock that she'd have a chance to stand.

And stand she did with love and care, and was safe below the sky.
She had all she could ever need and want but all she could do was cry. .
Unlike the beings all  around her,she was different and felt alone.
Grieving and longing and craving, for the life she had never known.

It did not matter to her that her life would of consist of pain,
that the sun would never of touch her skin, it would only have be drown with rain.
Or that she would not of had what she has,but objects don't mean much.
Her perfect life beneath the stars was absent of a mothers touch .

You saved me ,that was your greatest gift and you could not give no more.
You knew you did not have it in you to be a mother I could adore.
I am thankful you saved me from hell ,but right into the arms of another hell I was shown .
For in this heaven that is hell to me I am forced to walk alone !
