His smile captivates everything good in the world

his dark green eyes shine brighter than the stars

and his laughter makes my heart stand still.

Every tiny thing about him makes my head spin.

His abnormally large hands,

his stupid jokes,

the way his eyebrows pull together when he’s nervous,

I even love his annoying interruptions,

his loud behaviour

and his gross food combinations.

 I love him every minute

 of every day

until my head hits the pillow

 and my eyes close,

 then I dream about him,

about every moment we’ve ever had

and every touch we’ve ever shared.

I love him with every fibre in my body,

I love him with all my heart

but there is only one problem.

He’s not mine.
