She looks up with joy,

Spread across her face,

A sparkle in her eye,

She says thanks,

And runs awya,

Poor little thing has no clue,

About her tumar,

The doctor's unsure,

Yet she keeps that smile,

The smile that lights up the whole world,

A single drop of joy,

Dropped into everyones heart,

When they hear her story,

Yet some sad tears escape some peoples eye,

Her hair is already out,

After two months,

How much longer does she have?

Not much,

TWo weeks later,

She passed out on the bathroom floor,

I ran to her hospital bed,

She's hooked up to the ugly cords,

Her little blue eyes shut,

With that same smile on her face,

She opens her mouth and whispers:

"Although i wont be here,

Remember my smile,

And how it hurt for awhile,

but finally,

I can meet God,

On his golden road,

With all the angels in the sky,

I love you mom."

A teqar fell down my cheek,

As her breathing slowed to a stop,

And i know what she meant,

As she died that very night,

My baby girl is gone,

But her smile lingers on.
