a.n.: Sorry it's short but I can never write a lot at once. Thanks for reading my other chapter and commenting. I appreciated it alot^.^

Chloe woke up to find that she wasn’t in a cold alley with rain pouring on her. Instead, she was under warm blankets. She was more comfortable than she’d even be at home. Had some guy found her looking for a good time and was waiting for her to wake up? She sat up quickly, looking around cautiously. The room she was in was medium sized and clean. Everything in the room was white without an stains. Everything was unfamiliar.

“Ah, your woke.” Chloe turned her head in the direction of the voice. There stood an unfamiliar man in the doorway with bright green eyes, tanned skin and freckles. He was tall and muscular. If he wanted to, he could hurt her easily. That scared her.

“Who are you?” she asked softly and hoarsely. She was stuffy from walking in the rain with a miniskirt, tank top and heels on.

The man brushed a little bit of hair over that was covering his right eyes. Half of his eye was showing now. “Just call me Elmo.”

She almost broke into a laugh. Was he serious? Call him the name that a baby character is named after? “Elmo?”

He nodded. “Yes. Is that a problem?”

Chloe didn’t care what his name was so of course it wasn’t a problem. She got out the bed, noticing she was in comfortable clothes. A big grey t-shirt, baggy jeans and regular long socks that fit her just right. “What’s this?” she questioned, looking down at herself.

“Clothes. The ones you wore were wet and…despicable, no offence,” he spat out. “But I assure you, I didn’t give your body a lust look or touch.”

Nodding she stared at him. “Your nice and all but I’m off duty for tonight.”

Laughing lightly, Elmo looked away from her, his long brown hair moving covering the whole right side of his face. “I’m not trying to seduce you.” He looked at her now serious. “Your just a kid!” he nearly blurted out. Then he cleared his throat. “Excuse my rudeness.”

Why did he sound so proper and foreign? It was weird to Chloe. Wasn’t everyday you had someone talk like they’re from England. “I have to go.” Chloe said, still looking at him so see what he would say.

“Their’s a storm outside. You’ll have to stay here until it’s over. Lightning is striking everything that moves outside. Also, their might be a tornado.”

Chloe had to stay with a complete stranger? She wasn’t up for that. Then she thought about the whole alley situation with the other stranger, touching her cheek. But it was bandaged. “Do you know what happened?”

“After you lost consciousness I walked into the alley, catching the man right before his act. Talk about a coincidence, huh?”

Without answering she walked over to Elmo. “Thank you.” Her eyes were teary. No one had ever done anything for her. Elmo could have just walked by like some people had done before but he didn’t. He was kindhearted enough to stop the man. Tears started to pour down her cheeks.

Before she knew it, strong warm arms were around her, hugging her tightly. She felt so comforting to be in his arm even though he was a complete strange. But for what he’d done, he wasn’t just a stranger. He was her new and only friend.

Elmo rubbed her back gently. “Cry it out then maybe we can talk about it.” His voice was deep and soothing. Chloe closed her eyes and hugged his tighter. Inhaling deeply, she savored his masculine scent.
