Stepping into the corridor

waiting for death

praying for forgiveness

hoping it will go through

seeing other faces

skeletal and scared

looking at the children

wondering why they wont be spared

waiting for that moment

for the

body and spirit to divide

remembering all the good times

finding a happy place

the room becomes a cloud

choking spitting

screaming loud

is all over the room

looking over

once again

to see every ones eyes wide open

in shock with no life in there face

choking spitting

being brave

burning in the lungs

heart speed rises then drops

looking for the light

but all there is

is darkness
