When you look into my eyes

Tell me...

What do you see

can you see me drowning

Are you watching me bleed?

No, I'm not looking for sympathy

so don't try and pacify me

your condescending words

are like daggers stabbing me in the heart

Plunging deeper into my soul

But I'm not dead yet

'cause with every labored

breath I breathe

my heart still beats

and it's your blood that covers me.
