Every Half Life Fan knows the story of Gordon Freeman, and they know how the Combine came. But there's one thing no one asks about when you go on the adventures of Gordon. Where are the Children? No one is under 20 in either games. Well, This is a story about a special child. Chapter 1 and 2 will be about how he escaped Black Mesa and then his first experiences with the Combine. I dont know about Chapter 3 or anything else.

Disclaimer: Half Life and Half Life 2 are all property of valve, This is a fan game therefor I will not be writing anything about the cannon characters of Half Life 2, just my own. The story character does not use the Crowbar or the Gravity Gun, and most of the guns that are featured in the game. Thank you.

A man sat over a child's cradle, looking at the kid inside. The child had bluish hair, and a black onesie. The man looked at his wife, who was in the kitchen. They're small 5 room apartment, which in comparison to the Black Mesa laboritory dorms was very poorlooking. Yet, in a few years, that wont matter. The man took the baby to his wife, and they thought for a few seconds. "What should we name him?" The wife looked at him and thought. "What about...Maron?" "I like it. Maron Forerun. That seems like a nice name. Maron!" "Okay, Well, we got to get to work." "Yeah." the man put the baby in the cradle, and called a Watchmen to come and make sure the child was okay. Then the two went to work.  Fast Foreward to 10 years later, the boy's 10, and his mother died in a terminal accident, but the father told the child that she had a heart attack. The father sat in his chair, watching the tv.The child woke up from his bed, put on his clothes and got up. "Hey Dad.""Hey, Son. Come watch this, someone's going into the Testing Chambers. You have a job near there don't you?""Yeah, at the uh..transport department. I scan the Samples that go to the Testing Chambers. My coworker Steve did that one last night I think."

Disclaimer, children at Black Mesa are aloud to work, but only in the non dangerous departments, Do not sue Dreamteller Production for Child Labor stories, at this timeline everyone needs to make a living. Thank you.

"What's the guys name?" "Gordon Freeman.""Oh. The scientists fancy him.""Yeah. Oh hush he's about to push the crystal in." Five seconds later there was an explosion, and the father died. The child ran and grabbed a gun he made, out of a Sample crystal that fired the main bullets, and then also fired a "bouncy ball" of black matter. He ran to the Terminals, and found a dead officer. He went into the area the officer was protecting, and looked at an armor plate. He grinned, and grabbed the armor. It had a hood and a mask, then an alien looking armor from the chest to the shoes. He had found the Experimental department and took the armor that was the most usable. He then took one of the Alien Blades he found, and got on the terminal. The terminal took him to the upper layer. All he had to do was find the exit. Then, he saw Gordon running out the door, and followed, noticing that there was a dead marine. He picked up the MP5 and put it into his bag. The boy now had his Multigun, an MP5, an Alien Hardblade, and grenades. He took out the Hardblade and slashed at some Military, Then deactivated the blade, took out the Multigun and fired the Black Matter Ball, it bounced around then hit most of them. He put the gun in his backpack, but then a military agent knocked him out. He woke up in a Helicopter that was flying him to a Military prison. He saw his Multigun, his Armor, and his Hardblade inside a box. Then, the child was knocked out.
